Rod Layman — Chair
Before moving permanently to Lion’s Head in 2013 Rod worked in the electrical trade and property management for housing co-ops and non-profits. He is very interested in renewable energy and green building technologies. BPEG’s has provided many opportunities to learn about our environment and become connected to the community here. As a totally volunteer-driven organization, BPEG’s board has a very hands-on job keeping the organization going.

Joanne Rodgers
Joanne Rodgers is interested in preserving the special natural qualities of the Bruce, now and in the future. As a full time resident, she lives and works here. She would like to see more economic growth and job opportunities but at the same time not lose those qualities of the Bruce that make it such an amazing place. Having worked as a Process Auditor in government and the private sector, she believes in having well-documented (and supported) policies and guidelines to maintain any quality product. BPEG is a great vehicle for education and conversations which gave her a better understanding of the community.
