The Bruce Peninsula Environment Group (BPEG) is a community of volunteers interested in conserving and improving the environment of the Saugeen Bruce Peninsula. Our main activities are monthly presentations on a wide range of environmental topics, and volunteer-driven projects and events.

Jan Mackie and Judi McLeod worked tirelessly to raise awareness about plastic water bottle use and their toll on the environment. As a result of their efforts, water bottle filling stations were installed in 2016 in Tobermory, Lion’s Head, and at the national park visitor centre.
